I am pleased to provide you with the following details regarding our excursion to WA Museum Boola Bardip on Wednesday March 12th. This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being completed in your child’s classroom relating to our HASS unit focusing on push and pull factors for movement and migration with links to First Nations people as well as immigrants and economic migrants.
The class will depart from St Dominic’s at 8:40am and return to St Dominic’s at 1:00pm.
Travel will be by Train.
Students will be participating in the brand new Routes and Restrictions program that the museum is offering in 2025.
Special clothing or other requirements include:
- Leavers top and sports shorts
- St Dominic’s School hat
- Small backpack with lunch and crunch and sip in it as well as a water bottle
- If students feel they require sunglasses for the walking parts of this excursion they are welcome to wear them, however it is their responsibility for them
Three parent helpers are required to assist on the day. If you are available and would like to help, please complete the Microsoft Form linked below.
If, for whatever reason, you need to contact your child during the excursion, please call the school office who will then contact one of the supervising staff members.
