The Years 5 and 6 classes will be going on an excursion to Newman Sienna to participate in the CEWA STEM Showcase event, on Wednesday, 18th September, 2019.
Students will be going by a free bus provided by CEWA to Newman Siena Centre, 33 Williamstown Road, Doubleview. They will leave school at 10.30am and return to school at approximately 1.15pm.
The visit will complement the Year 5 and 6 STEM programs. Students will participate in four spaces; the STEM Showcase, the STEM Slam, the STEM Stage and Camp Cardboard. Students will receive a lanyard detailing the times of each of these sessions on arrival.
Children will be required to wear their normal school (winter) uniform on this day. They are also required to bring their lunch and a water bottle.
We will require parent helpers to assist on the day with the supervision of students. Please indicate via the online form below if you would like to assist.
Coming home with your child today is a permission slip, a digital copy can also be downloaded via the link below. Please complete and return this to school by Tuesday, 17th September.
