The Year 4 class will be going on an excursion to The Dogs Refuge Home in Shenton Park on Thursday, 4th November, during their STEM lesson.
Students will travel safely to and from The Dog’s Refuge Home, in one of the following staff members personal cars; Leon Bolding, Michelle Martin or Peta Kelly.
We will depart school at 1:25pm and return by 2:40 pm.
Students will meet with staff from the Refuge to hand over the dog jackets they have made and get feedback on the design and build of their products. They will have the opportunity to test their product and find out ways to improve it. They will also see the environment where the dogs stay to understand the needs of the ‘client’.
Children are required to wear the normal school summer uniform, including a school hat.
If you have any concerns about the excursion or the mode of transport, please do not hesitate to contact me prior to the day.
