On Friday, 9th June, Year 4 students travelled to the 24/7 Youth Centre in Osbourne Park in preparation for their First Eucharist next Sunday. Students participated in a range of activities that dived deeply into the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and Eucharist. Students engaged with Youth Ministers in small groups, as well as individual reflection through the creation of grape vines that represented the connection between the sacraments students have already completed. The Year Four students finished the day with a skit lead by the Youth Ministers, which followed Jesus’ final days, through the last supper, praying in the garden, crucifixion, and resurrection. The students had a great day!
