I am pleased to provide you with the following details regarding our excursion to Kanyana Wildlife Park on Wednesday, 18th September.
This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being completed in your child’s classroom
- Information Reports
- Procedure writing texts (How to protect our wildlife)
The class will depart from St Dominics at 8:50am and return to St Dominics at 2:00pm.
Travel will be by Bus.
Activities to be undertaken include:
- Guided activities by Kanyana Wildlife volunteers
- Visit to the Wildlife Hospital
- Up close encounters with three animals (bird, reptile and mammal)
Special clothing or other requirements include:
- School sport uniform with grey shirt
- Raincoats if the weather is predicted to be wet
- Bags with recess, lunch and water bottle
