On Wednesday, Fr Bernard joined the Year 2 class to celebrate an end of unit liturgy. The class, which has been focussing on prayer, discussed the different ways students can speak to God. Fr emphasised that there is a time and place for both formal and informal prayers.
A prayer can be as simple as a 5 to 10 second conversation with God, giving thanks for something good that happened throughout the day, to asking God to take care of a loved one. The Year 2’s did a wonderful job reading. The beautiful liturgy was a fantastic way to end the term together.
A big thanks to Miss Smith for organising, and to Fr Bernard and Mr Bolding for joining us.
