On Monday, 1st November, the Year 2 and 3 students will be going on an excursion to Perth City to participate in a Two Feet and a Heartbeat walking tour. The ‘City Living’ tour will explore skills and understandings from the Arts and History curriculum. Students will learn about the rich significance of buildings and surrounding art works. They will get to know the best street murals, sculptures and architecture whilst learning about the engaging and quirky stories of Perth’s history, led by an experienced tour guide.
Students will travel to and from the excursion by bus. The bus will depart school at 9:15am and return at approximately 1:30pm. Students are required to wear their sports uniform with their grey polo and a hat. Students need to bring their recess and lunch in a small backpack as we will eat together in a park. Please put sunscreen on your child before they get to school as we will be walking around Perth city. They will be asked to reapply at appropriate times throughout the day.
We will require three to four parent helpers for each year group as classes will be walking around the city separately. If you are available and would like to assist, please complete the Microsoft Form linked below.
