I am pleased to provide you with the following details regarding our excursion to the Perth Zoo on Tuesday, 14th March (Week 7).
This excursion has been planned to supplement the work being completed in the students geography unit. In this unit students explore the environments and animals where they live, particularly focusing on the African and Australian animals and environments.
The class will depart from St Dominic’s at 9:30am and return to St Dominic’s at 2:30pm.
Travel will be by bus .
Activities to be undertaken include:
- African Safari walk, led by a Zoo Educator
- Zoo exploration, in small groups students will explore the rest of the zoo looking at the animals and the environments they live in.
Special clothing or other requirements include:
- Sports uniform with the grey and white shirt
- School hat
- Recess and lunch
Three parent helpers are required to assist on the day. If you are available and would like to help, please complete the Microsoft Form linked below.
If, for whatever reason, you need to contact your child during the excursion, please call the school office who will then contact one of the supervising staff members.
