We are excited to share that we have been able to successfully secure the services of a very experienced social worker named Justine O’Malley. Justine joins us from St Elizabeth’s Primary School, Hocking, where she has been instrumental in the pastoral support of students, staff and families.
Justine is a Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum Key Trainer for CEWA, has previous experience working in the CEWA Child Safe Team, is a TRB registered teacher and has previously worked at the Department for Child Protection for 19 years.
She has also developed a range of initiatives at St Elizabeth’s over the past two years and been nominated for the Agnes Weymouth Award by the St Elizabeth’s P&F for building positive school communities.
Justine will commence at St Dominic’s at the start of Term 2, however, will be coming for a visit and to commence setting up her room on in Week 9.
We look forward to welcoming Justine to our school, to introducing her to you and to the support she will bring to our school community.
