On Monday, 30th November at 7.30am in the school hall, the Robotics Club members would like to invite their families to join them for a breakfast during which they will share some of the skills they have learned this year.
Each group is planning to put on a 2-3 minute ‘performance’, in which they can demonstrate what they have learned about using sensors and programming the EV3 robots. After this, I would encourage you to ask the students to share their program and knowledge with you. Following this, we will share in a light breakfast.
2020 has thrown a variety of challenges at us and the Covid-19 pandemic has meant there have been far fewer club sessions than in other years. As such, the students will be at different stages of skill and knowledge acquisition, especially the new members from Year 4 who have only had a couple of months to develop their skills.
Please bring a small plate to share.
Boys: pastries, muffins, biscuits
Girls: fruit juice, fresh fruit.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Robotics Club will run on Monday of Week 9 so the students can disassemble the robots and return the parts to the kits. This is a big task and it is important that all students attend this final session. Parent help with this task would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your support this year and I look forward to seeing you on the 30th.
