The PP, Year 1 and Year 6 classes will be attending an excursion to Caversham Wildlife Park at Whiteman Park on Wednesday, 20th October, 2021. We will leave school at 8:45am and return to school by 2:40pm.
The excursion will involve separate, curriculum-linked, educational experiences for the three classes.
This will be a rich and fun learning experience and a great way for the three classes to come together as a school community.
Children are required to wear the sports uniform with their grey school sports polo on this day, including a school hat. They are also required to bring their recess, lunch and a water bottle in their normal school bag or smaller school duffle bag.
There will not be a chance to purchase lunch on the excursion and students will not have access to the gift shop.
Parent helpers will be required on the day. Outlined below is how many are needed for each class:
- Pre Primary – 1 parent helper
- Year 1 – 3 parent helpers
- Year 6 – 2 parent helpers
Please use the following link to express your interest in assisting on this day. We will notify parent helpers by Friday and these helpers may travel on the bus with the students if they wish or meet us at the front of the wildlife park at approximately 9:25am.

Any additional parents who are surplus to requirements may still attend on the day; however, will need to pay their own entry fee and make their own way to Caversham. Please meet us there by 9:25am.
