This term in Pre-Primary we are learning about Australia, and in particular, those things that make it up, such as our beaches, rivers, mountains etc. In Year 1 and 2, the students have had an ‘under the sea’ theme in their classroom that has been contributing to their learning. To support this learning, we are getting on a bus and going to Cicerello’s in Fremantle to learn more about the ocean and the creatures that beneath the waves. They will browse the aquariams, listen to a talk about the sea creatures, participate in a beach combing exercise, explore the touch pool, and enjoy a delicious lunch.
We will require 3 parent helpers from each class, who are prepared to travel by bus and be responsible for a small group of children for the duration of the excursion. Unfortunately, parents with younger siblings joining them will not be suitable for volunteering as a parent helper on this excursion. Please complete the online form below to express your interest. We will inform you as soon as possible if you have been selected to attend.
