We are pleased to provide you with the following details regarding our excursion to Scitech on Friday, 19th August. This excursion has been planned to supplement the Science Curriculum and the work being completed in your child’s classroom.
The class will depart from the bus zone in front of the school at (approx.) 9.30am and return to school at (approx.) 2.30pm. Travel will be by bus.
Activities to be undertaken include:
Pre-Primary:
- Planetarium ‘Tilt’
- Discover Through Play
Year 3:
- Planetarium ‘ Tilt’
- Chevron Science Theatre: Hot vs Cold
- The Case of the Missing Lunch
Special clothing or other requirements include:
- Pre Primary – Normal sports uniform (grey and white t-shirt)
- Year 3 – Sports Uniform (faction coloured t-shirt)
Please keep an eye on Seesaw for further details on what to bring closer to the date of the excursion.
To assist on the day, three parent helpers are required for Pre Primary and three for Year 3. If you are available and would like to help, please complete the Microsoft Form linked below. In the event that there are more volunteer helpers than are required, parent helpers will be randomly drawn.
If, for whatever reason, you need to contact your child during the excursion, please call the school office who will then contact one of the supervising staff members.
