The Pre Primary and Year 2 classes will be attending an excursion to the Kings Park Rio Tinto Naturescape on Tuesday, 9th November, 2021. We will leave school at 8:45am and return to school by 2:30pm.
The excursion will involve separate, curriculum-linked, educational experiences for the two classes. This will be a rich and fun learning experience and a great way for the two classes to come together as a school community.
Children are required to wear their sports uniform with their grey school sports polo on this day, including a school hat. They are also required to bring their recess, lunch and a water bottle in their normal school bag or smaller school duffle bag. Parents are advised to put sun cream on their child before we leave. As there is some shallow water where the children can put their feet in at Kings Park, please pack a change of clothes in your child’s bag, just in case. There will not be a chance to purchase lunch on the excursion.
