Important Disabled Bay Priority and Pick up and Drop off Parking Reminders

If parking and collecting your children, instead of using the ‘kiss and ride’ option, please take a moment to read the following information.

Parking is available along Beatrice Street in the marked parking bays and in the Church carpark at the Eastern end of the school.  Although a bit further away, street parking is also available along Marion Street and at the Western end of Beatrice Street, where a safe walking path can be followed to the main school gate.

For families with a valid ACROD sticker, we have designated disabled parking bays at the front of the school and in the Parish Carpark.  Please ensure that you are only using these bays if you have a valid ACROD sticker displayed.  Additionally, parking is not permitted at any time in the yellow gazetted zone beside the bay.

Important Disabled Bay Priority and Pick up and Drop off Parking Reminders

Please also note, that parking along Beatrice Street opposite our offical carpark has been gazetted by the City of Stirling as a no standing zone between 7:30am – 9:00am and 2:30pm – 4:15pm on school days.  Parking here not only runs you the risk of a fine, it also poses a significant safety risk for other road users, our students and family members.  The City of Stirling Ranger regularly patrols the area, taking down number plates and handing out warnings/ fines.

Finally, a reminder that stopping along Beatrice Street in front of the school and having children jump out of the car is not safe and poses a significant safety risk for other road users, our students and family members.  Families are asked to either safely park or use the ‘kiss and ride’ driveway.

I understand that parking can sometimes be difficult, particularly during the busier drop off and pick up times, however, your assistance with the above is greatly appreciated and will ensure a greater level of safety for our whole school community.
