Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week, commemorating Jesus’ triumphant arrival in Jerusalem days before he was crucified. This Mass includes a procession into the church, the blessing of palm branches and the reading of the Passion. We encourage all families to support our children in experiencing this special celebration by attending one of the Palm Sunday Masses held at St Dominic’s Church on Saturday, 1st April at 6:00pm or Sunday, 2nd April at 9:30am.
Fr Bernard encourages all children to participate in the Mass by being involved in the procession and waving palms as we remember Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem.
