Our new Year 5 and 6 St Dominic’s Book Club is up and running, with their first meeting held last Friday at lunch time. There was a buzz of excitement as the group discussed how they would like the new club to run! Lots of ideas were bounced around and the members couldn’t wait to get stuck into the chosen novel for the Term – ‘Out of My Mind’ by Sharon Draper.
The club is open for any student from Year 5 and 6 and it is not too late to join. We meet every three weeks (Friday lunchtime in the Library). If your child would like to know more about the club, they should come and speak to Mrs Kelly, Mrs James or the students who have already signed up.
