On Thursday, 14th September, we will be holding our annual St Dominic’s School Open Night and Book Fair. Classrooms will be open from 5:30pm – 7:00pm for parents, siblings, family members and friends to come inside and have a look around.
This night provides an opportunity for your child to share their learning with you. You are encouraged to ask your child to lead you around the room, ask relevant questions, discuss their learning and be encouraging of their progress by providing supportive feedback. Please note that this is not a time to discuss your child’s progress with the teacher or to compare your child’s work with others. If you would like to speak with your child’s teacher regarding their learning, please make an appointment to see them at an alternative time.
The Book Fair will also be open in the Library! After you have spent some time with your child in their class you may like to head to the Library to see what wonderful Scholastic resources are on sale. Both cash and card sales are accepted.
Children are asked not to play on the oval, nature playgrounds or in the undercover area during this event, as there will be no supervision.
We look forward to welcoming all family members into the classroom environments to experience, see and hear all about the learning that the children have been engaged in this term.
