This year, the Mini Vinnies team have successfully organised three free dress days, a soccer penalty shootout competition, a hot chocolate fundraiser and a water balloon fundraiser. We have raised over $700 which has been donated to Lifelink and Wheelchairs for Kids, our two chosen charities this year. We would like to thank you for your generous contributions.
Due to the great fundraising efforts of our dedicated team, we were able to go on an excursion to the Wheelchairs for Kids facility in Wangara on Friday the 26th of November. Bob and Steve, two Wheelchairs for Kids volunteers, took us on a tour of the facility. We learnt how the volunteers make the wheelchairs and heard stories from people whose lives have positively changed because of the organisation.
We would like to thank all the members of the 2021 Mini Vinnies team. We are so proud of your ‘good works’ this year. We hope many of you join Mini Vinnies again next year!
