On Monday, 13 March, West Oz Wild Life will be visiting the Kindy and Pre-Primary classes. They will bring a range of different Australian animals. These animals may include a Koala, Dingo, Pythons, Lizards, Kangaroo joey and more.
The experienced staff offer animal-based activities that range from observation, animal care and safe animal handling to facts about each species and the ecosystem in which they live. Such things include: habitat, diet, behaviours, adaptations to survive in the wild, interesting features and a snake safety demonstration showing what to do if you see a snake in the wild.
All students will get the opportunity to get up close and personal with all the wildlife, touch all the animals and can hold the reptiles if they wish.
This will be a great afternoon for our Kindy and Pre-Primary students and ties in nicely with the Western Australian Curriculum.
