The Kindy and Pre-Primary students will be participating in an incursion on Thursday, 21st September, at St Dominic’s Primary School (last day of this Term 3).
The incursion will be held by Educated by Nature. Educated by Nature Incursions are designed to connect students and educators with the natural world through play.
The students will be involved in the incursion called ‘Tinkering Zone’. The Tinkering Zone provides a sense of empowerment, provides children with a chance to take risks and experiment with transforming materials. In this incursion, children have the opportunity to use hammers, hand drills, saws and whittling tools to carve, cut, drill, saw and tinker. Developing physical skills and confidence, the Tinkering Zone provides a place to make and create.
For this incursion we will need parent helpers. If you can help out, we would be greatly appreciative. We need one adult for every five children.
We require:
- 6 parent helpers for Pre-Primary
- 5 parent helpers for Kindy
Please see Miss Brush and Mrs Muniandy if you can assist with your child’s class on the day.
