This term we have been learning about Australian animals and animals that live under the sea. AQWA is a wonder experience, which nurtures and educates students’ passion for the oceans and marine life by exciting students about all things marine. AQWA aims to inspire respect for the marine life and raise awareness of the oceans’ critical importance. Students will be breaking off into small groups to head off on an underwater adventure through each of AQWA’s 6 areas, with focus questions to answer in each exhibit.
We will require 2-3 parent helpers per class who are prepared to travel by bus and be responsible for a small group of children as we make our way around AQWA. Unfortunately parents with siblings joining them will not be suitable for volunteering as a parent helper on this excursion. After conducting a raffle of names, we will inform you as soon as possible if you have been selected to attend. Parents who are not selected as parent helpers are more than welcome to journey by car and join us on the excursion. Extra adults/ siblings will enter through the public entrance where they will be required to pay an admission fee. If you are interested in being a parent helper for this excursion, please complete the online parent helper form linked below.
