As you may have seen on the Term Planner, we have two opportunities scheduled for families to attend a Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum Parent and Carer Workshop. The first of these two opportunities is on this Wednesday, commencing at 8:45am in the school hall. For those who are unable to make this weeks workshop, a second evening session is scheduled for Wednesday, 24th July. Details for this Wednesday’s event are below.

It is a requirement of the Non-Government Schools Registration Standards that all students receive a protective behaviours and sexual abuse prevention education.
The Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC) is a child safety and respectful relationships curriculum for children taught in all year groups at St Dominic’s School.
The program provides age and developmentally appropriate strategies to increase children’s safety.
On Wednesday, parents, carers and grandparents are encouraged to attend the Keeping Safe Parent/ Carer Workshop, presented by Justine O’Malley, St Dominic’s School Social Worker, to learn how they can reinforce the Keeping Safe themes, focus areas and topics at home:
