On Monday of Week 3, St Dominic’s students will participate in the Interschool Cross Country Carnival at Light St Reserve in Dianella. As part of this, students will have 3 training sessions in the lead up to the carnival. These will be at Birralee Reserve from 7:30-8:15am on the following dates:
Thursday 15th October
Tuesday 20th October
Thursday 22nd October
The training sessions will be open to all students, not just the Interschool Team. Either Mr Bovell or myself will walk students back to school after the training session.
Please find attached to this communication a letter with details of the event, which includes the Interschool X Country Team. We always need helpers for events such as this. If you can help, please fill out a form by clicking on the link below. St Dominic’s School is required to cover one, on-course checkpoint, to assist the runners to follow the correct course. The total time we need to cover is two hours, but it is certainly a job that could be shared among a group, and allows parents to watch their own children race.
