The Interschool Athletics Carnival is now just under 2 weeks away on Thursday, 24th September (Week 10).
Please find attached to this communication an amended copy of the program with times of each event if you plan on coming to watch your child (please check this document carefully so that you know exactly which race your child is in), as well as another copy of the Athletics Competitor Letter, which I will also hand out to students. If your child is unable to race on the day due to injury or any other reason, please let me know as soon as possible.
In Week 10, I will hand students participating in the Interschool Athletics Carnival an athletics singlet that they will need to wear on the day of the carnival.
On Friday, 25th September (final day of term), Mr Bolding is putting on a breakfast for students who participated in the Interschool Athletics Carnival, as well as the students who came along to training. This will be held in the undercover area and will commence at 8am.
If you intend to take your child home after the carnival, please notify me at the end of the carnival so that I can tick their name off the list.
Parent support is always greatly appreciated at events such as this. If you do plan on coming to the Interschool Athletics Carnival, please ensure that you following social distancing guidelines, which will be spoken about on the day. There will be an area allocated for spectators.
Finally, I am still after some more adults to help on the day to assist with Long Jump and Throw measuring. If you can assist, please fill out the form below. To those who have already put their hand up to help, thank you. I will be in touch early in Week 10 with a timetable. On the day of the athletics carnival, we will explain long jump and throw rules to you.
