During Gardening Club, the students learn (and work) to maintain a self-sustaining and chemical-free garden full of edibles. Most edibles are sold to hungry parents after school by gardening club members. You may be approached by an eager young hawker! Once a term the gardeners also enjoy a home-grown meal or snack together.
Gardening Club will be held every Wednesday during lunchtime starting straight away in Week 1 of Term 1. Students from Year 3-6 are invited to attend.
Students who are interested in giving it a go are to meet Mr Bovell at the drink fountains once they have been dismissed from eating their food.
“No hat no garden” and, as always, sun cream is available in each classroom.
