A reminder that our First Eucharist Parent/ Child Workshop will be on Thursday, 28th July at 5:30pm in the school hall. All children enrolled to receive the Sacrament this year are required to attend with a parent/ caregiver.
On Monday, 1st August, the Year 4 class will be participating in a spiritual retreat in preparation for their upcoming First Eucharist. The retreat will be held at the 24/7 Youth Ministry Centre, 67 Howe St, Osborne Park. Students will be travelling by bus to the centre, leaving school at 9:00am and returning to school at 2:30pm.
The purpose of the retreat is to allow students to participate in prayer experiences and complete activities to deepen their understanding of the Sacrament of Eucharist. Kasey Wheatley and Leon Bolding will attend the retreat with the students.
On the day, students are allowed to wear free dress to school and will require a hat, recess and water bottle. Lunch will be provided by the school. Please let us know if you would prefer your child did not receive lunch from the school on the day.
