The 2023 Athletics carnival was amazing! All students gave their best efforts and produced great results on the day, congratulations to all students. From the bottom of my heart a huge thank you for all the birthday wishes, everyone made the day so special.
Days like last Wednesday don’t simply happen without input from so many people. I would like to thank the following people:
- To the teachers for the help on the day and leading up to the event
- To the parent helpers on the day who assisted with long jump, throws, set up/ pack up, simply amazing!
- To the wonderful P&F who put so much time into organising the sausage sizzle and cake stall.
- To the entire school community for creating a great atmosphere on the day and supporting all students.
- To Yuluma Primary School for allowing us to use their school oval and for marking out all of the lines.
- To Timing Solutions for providing us with the electronic gates on the day.

The Interschool carnival is on Tuesday, 19th September at the WA Athletics Stadium 9:30am – 2:15pm, further details will be posted closer to the date.

Please note that students who are listed only as reserves will only attend the carnival if needed on the day or if notified prior to the event that they will be required. If students are in specific events and also listed as a reserve in another, they will be attending the carnival. The table above are all students in events (reserves are not listed in the team above), I will notify students who are reserves, I have also highlighted students who are only reserves in red on the event program linked below.
Training for the Interschool Carnival will be on Tuesdays 7:30am – 8.15am at St Dominic’s for Jumps and Throws and Thursdays 7:30am – 8.15am at Yuluma for runs and relays, starting on Thursday 24th August.
Please note the following training days and dates (there will be no training on Thursday 31st August due to the P&F Fathers Day Breakfast event)
