Craft Club began this week for 2020. Students from Pre Primary to Year 6 joined in with activities involving dye, paint and feathers! Each week, different projects are planned. Some may take 1 week, some may take a whole term! Mrs Capriotti, Mrs James and Mrs Smith have lots of fun things planned for Craft Club this year.
If you would like to join in with the Craft Club on Wednesday’s from 3-4pm in the Year One classroom, next week is the last week you can sign up to participate. It is open to children in Kindy-Year 2 (they require a parent helper to stay and help out) and students from Year 3-6. Children are asked to bring in a gold coin donation once a term, and also to bring in a small snack to have for afternoon tea.
We are looking for donations of art materials from our wonderful school community to assist with the Craft Club activities. Donations of coloured card, sequins, buttons, wool, pipe cleaners, felt, PVA glue and feathers would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to donate any of the above items, please hand them to Mrs James.
Some exciting things we have planned include Easter card making, Easter crafts, Mothers Day crafts, pom pom animals and collahging activities.
Be sure to visit the front office in the coming weeks as some of the work created by the Craft Club will be on display.
