Further to the Premier’s announcement on Friday, that the Perth and Peel restrictions would end on Sunday morning at 12:01am, St Dominic’s School, along with other Catholic schools across Western Australia, will return to Phase 4 COVID-19 restrictions.
This means that masks will no longer be required by staff, parents or other visitors to our campus. Yay! Good hygiene practices and physical distancing of 1.5 meters between adults continues, and the 2 square metre rule replaces last weeks 4 square metre rule.
While its has been a challenging first week of the school year, the students have settled back into school life well and teaching and learning is certainly well underway. Thank you once again for your understanding in relation to the restrictions that needed to be put in place last week.
With us now returning to Phase 4, which is essentially back to where we were before our recent lockdown, please refer to my post dated, January 28th, in which I outlined the COVID-19 restrictions that remain in place at St Dominic’s School during this phase.
