As has been previously communicated, we have been exploring alternative canteen options moving forward. The original plan that I shared with the community at the start of the year was disrupted by COVID-19, however, we are now in a position to push ahead with a trial of the offsite solution offered by ‘LunchBox’. The trial will commence on Monday, 22nd March.
LunchBox will cook and prepare food daily at their West Perth commercial kitchen and transport ordered items to St Dominic’s in commercial food grade transport boxes. Orders will arrive at 12:20pm and be distributed to students before they head out to lunch. Please note that items will not be available at morning tea.
Orders are entered and payed for by families online via the companies purpose built website and instructions on how to set up an individual family account will be sent home tomorrow. For reference, below are links to a FAQ page, that provides further information and support, and an updated menu.
