Tuesday, 22nd October, is the first day of camp! Not long to go now. The bus will be departing from the front of the school at 8:30am sharp. Please ensure you are at school by 8:00am so that we can depart on time and the day will therefore run as planned. The children’s luggage will need to be clearly labelled and sleeping bags will need to be tied to their bag. Children may take their pillows on the bus with them. Please note that, due to loading and space restrictions, All Aboard Coach Tours has requested that if possible students don’t bring large hard suitcases.
Staff attending camp this year are Kasey Wheatley, Jasmine Crosara, John McCabe and Kylie Phillips. We are all looking forward to sharing in this wonderful experience with the students, an experience that will hopefully be a highlight of their final weeks with us here at St Dominic’s.
A reminder that if you listed your child as needing a particular medication/s, please hand these to Kasey in a clearly labelled bag/ box as soon as you arrive on Tuesday. This includes any allergy or pain medication in a clearly labelled bag/ box to be given to us on Tuesday morning. However, this does not include asthma inhalers, which students can keep on themselves and in their personal bags.
Children will need to bring their own morning tea and drink bottle on Tuesday (departure day) in a small backpack. The backpack is also necessary, as the students will take it with them on every planned activity.
Children have been asked to bring roll-on deodorant only. No spray deodorant please, as often it is over-used in the confined dormitory environment.
If for any reason you need to contact camp staff during the week, please call the school office on 9449 6900. During normal school hours, your call will be answered by office staff as normal, who will then contact a member of the team and ask them to return your call. If the matter is urgent and contact with a camp staff member is required out of hours, please still call the school office number, as this number will be redirected during these times to a member of the camp staff.
If required, below are also the details of the campsite where the children will be staying and the mobile number of All Aboard Coach Tours.
