Just a reminder to parents and students that Tuesday, November 26th is camp!! The bus will be departing from the FRONT OF THE SCHOOL at 8.30am sharp on Tuesday 26th November. Please ensure you are at school by 8.00am so that we can depart on time and the day will therefore run as planned. The children’s luggage will need to be clearly labelled and sleeping bags will need to be tied to them. Children may take their pillows on the bus with them.
A reminder also that if you listed your child as needing a particular medication/s, please give them to us in a CLEARLY LABELLED bag/box as soon as you arrive on Tuesday. This includes any allergy or pain medication in a CLEARLY LABELLED bag/box to be given to us on Tuesday morning. However, this does not include asthma inhalers, which students can keep on themselves and in their personal bags.
Children will also need to bring their own morning tea, drink bottle, towel, bathers, rash vest, sun cream and change of clothes on Tuesday, 26th November (departure day) in a small backpack. The backpack is also necessary, as the students will take it with them on every planned activity.
Also, a reminder that each child needs to bring in a packet of biscuits and lollies to share. We will collect these in a separate tub for controlled consumption. Could you please ensure that if they are partaking in the eating of the lollies that they bring them in!
Lastly, we have asked the children to bring in roll-on deodorant (NO SPRAY DEODORANT PLEASE, as often it is over-used in the confined dormitory environment), and they must have long sleeves and full-length pants/trousers (no shorts) to begin the activity when we explore the Ngilgi Caves on Day 3 (Thursday morning).
Thanks for all your support in the preparation. See you all Tuesday morning of November 26th!
