On Wednesday, 14th February, the staff and students of St Dominic’s School will mark the beginning of Lent by attending Ash Wednesday Mass. The mass will commence at 11:30am in St Dominic’s Church and all in our community are welcome to join us for this special celebration.
Lent is a time when Catholics typically give something up, as well as put others before themselves by giving to the poor and hungry of the world. Over the coming weeks, students may be asked to think about something to sacrifice, as well as encouraged to give to the poor through Project Compassion.
