The Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia (CECWA) is currently reviewing our system policies that support 75,000 students and 12,000 members of staff in 162 Catholic schools across our State.
The voice of all members of our Catholic education community is vital to ensure that system policies are developed to meet the contemporary and future needs of schools. A number of participants from various Catholic schools have already engaged with the CECWA Policy Development Process through workshops, whilst others have participated in a digitally collaborative way.
CEWA now invites all students, parents, staff and members of the community to contribute to our Policy Review by telling us: What makes a good Catholic school?
Facilitated sessions will take place at the offices of Catholic Education Western Australia in Leederville and you may book your preferred session time online by selecting:
- Early Years LOFT Sessions (for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 4 students and their families)
- Open LOFT Sessions (Years 4 to 12 students, families, staff and members of our community)
During the school holiday sessions, participants will also help to create a mural alongside local artist Linzi Carter. This is an evolving creation, whose form will develop with each session.
For more information and to register for a session, please see: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/the-loft-catholic-education-western-australia-cewa-20262532767
We would welcome your participation in this unique opportunity to have a say in the future of our schools.
