St Dominic’s School is excited to announce that our annual talent show, “St Dominic’s Got Talent”, is fast approaching! We are looking for dedicated, hard-working, and creative students to get involved.
Many students have already put their name/ act up on the audition sheets that will be given to all classroom teachers. All students from PP-Year 6 are welcome to audition to take part in this event and can participate individually or within a group.
Auditions will take place during Week 6 of Term 3 (at the classroom teachers’ discretion and two acts from every year group will be accepted through to the big event on Friday the 30th of August. There will be one junior and one senior winner on the day.
Students can sing a song, perform a dance routine, tell jokes, create a magic act, develop a skit, show off athletic skills, play an instrument or demonstrate their own particular talent in their very own unique way. Creativity is a must!
Judging criteria will be based on creativity, originality, stage presence, organisation/ coordination, personality and overall performance. All acts must be between two and four minutes in length.
Music (if needed) will be provided by the school.
Parents are not invited to the audition process however we very much hope to see you all there on the 30th of August at 1:30pm in the school hall.
