An invitation is extended to parents, caregivers and friends of St Dominic’s School, to attend the 2024 Annual Community Meeting (ACM) of the Catholic School Advisory Council and Parents & Friends Association. The meeting will take place on Thursday, 21st November, commencing at 3:30pm in the school hall. The meeting itself is an opportunity for the Catholic School Advisory Council and P&F to outline to the community some of the activities that have taken place in 2024 and what is on the horizon for 2025. The meeting will go for approximately forty five minutes. It is a wonderful opportunity for the St Dominic’s School community to come together and celebrate the work done by the Catholic School Advisory Council and P&F in 2024.
Children will be able to remain on the school grounds and play while the meeting is taking place, however, an adult will need to supervise this play as no staff will be on duty.
At this meeting, the election of the 2025 Catholic School Advisory Council will also take place. Catholic School Advisory Council members are elected for three year terms and can re-nominate for a second term (six years at the most).
Nominations from suitable candidates, in addition to our continuing members, are welcomed. Below is the criteria for membership and a link to the Catholic School Advisory Council Terms of Reference that govern all Catholic School Advisory Councils in Western Australia.
