On Thursday, 5th of March, students from Year 3-6 will take part in the 2020 Faction Swimming Carnival. Details are as follows:
Venue: Claremont Aquatic Centre
Transport: The bus will leave St Dominic’s at 9:00am and depart Claremont Aquatic 2:30pm. If you want to take your child home from the venue, please contact your child’s teacher prior to the carnival.
What to bring/wear:

- Wear bathers underneath sport uniform
- Underwear
- Towel
- Goggles
- Recess and Lunch
- Hat
- Drink bottle
- Sunscreen
- Shoes
Selection for interschool representation will be based on performances in 50 metre events only. Relay teams are chosen on the day from the fastest 50 metres times. This will be overseen by teachers, as well as Timing Solutions, who are helping us on the day. Championship points for individual trophy winners are awarded to students from Year 3-6 in the strokes of 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke and 50m breaststroke. Faction points will be allocated for each race.
